I find the old stories beguiling, especially those ancient myths that are so much
a part of our collective unconscious.
Herodotus ( everybody’s first history teacher) saw little difference
between history and myth.
And as I watch our own recent history
I understand why.
Human behaviors haven’t changed much since Ovid wrote his Metamorphoses.
The human fascination with transformation (now called “Makeovers”) continues unabated.
